Our Lady of Sorrows

Labour Day weekend was quite busy this year. To be precise, I should say, Sunday was quite busy.

Fr. François Bandet and Deacon Ryan Murphy, ordained just recently in Brazil, visited Toronto to celebrate the event with the Canadian Heralds.

The first Mass was at the local parish in Nobleton, Ont. where our house is situated.

Later in the afternoon, there was a procession of the portuguese community for the feast of Our Lady of the Light.

At 6 pm, we finally all met at Our Lady of Sorrows, in Etobicoke. The Mass presided by Fr. François Bandet was concelebrated, by Fr. Nino Cavoto, pastor, Fr. Down White, Fr. Tim Nelligan, Fr. José David Perez and Fr. Charles. Part of the ceremonial and also the music was accomplished with the participation of our Companions and the students of the Lumen Veritatis Academy.

Fr. François litteraly stood one hour to offer his blessing for each and everyone.

Being a first Mass of the newly ordained priest, a plenary indlugence is granted to the priest and to the faithful who devoutly assist at the same Mass.

I finish with a photo gallery of the Mass. Hopefully it will give you an idea of the amtosphere of graces that each and everyone lived on that day.
